In plant roots:
. Quantification of mycorrhizal fungi by microscopy; expressed as rate of mycorrhization (%)

In mycorrhizal fungi-based biostimulants:
. Quantification of mycorrhizal fungi spores and intraradical vesicles by microscopy.

* This assay includes: number of total spores; number of intraradical vesicles; viability of spores with MTT [3-(3,4-Dimethylthiazol-2-il)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium]; frequency of fragments with vesicles; and Potential Mycorrhization Unit (PMU)/g.
